Lesson Overview The students will start by taking a quiz. After the quiz there will be some notes on mutations and dihybrid crosses.
Objectives 1. Students will complete quiz with at least 75% accuracy. 2. Students will be able to complete dihybrid punnet squares. 3. Students will learn about mutations.
Opening To start the class I will ask if anyone has any questions about the quiz or if they need me to review anything. (10-15 minutes)
Learning Activities Students will take a quiz on everything learned from the inquiry assignment as well as the last lecture. (30 minutes) After the quiz will be examples on dihybrid crosses and an entertaining slide show on mutations filled with lovely pictures. (30 minutes)
Closing I will wrap up by giving a review sheet for the exam and having the students complete it by next class. I will also tell them that their quizzes will be graded by next class to use for studying.
Assessment There will be a quiz for an assessment.
